About Grant
- General Practice with a rural flavour. I grew up in Port Augusta and was always keen to return to the country, as a result I spent nearly 15 yrs in the Riverland SA as a GP Anaesthetist.
- Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Having played elite level tennis as a junior and then coached our national level juniors via state squads and teams I always had an interest in working with the athlete. I undertook some postgraduate study in Sportsmedicine via UNSW and now find myself providing medical services for the Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL and SHOC’s Football club in the Amateur league.
- Teaching. I have always enjoyed teaching whether it be teaching medical students in my former role as a Clinical Lecturer at Flinders University for the PRCC program or current role as a Medical Educator teaching GP Registrars for GPEX.
- Quality services that patients value. As a business owner most of my working life (in Barmera and now Mitcham) I fully comprehend the need to provide a quality service. My family medicine is truly family not only in the services that I provide but also in having my adult children fill in at reception at times and my wife Angela being an integral part of the team as one of our practice nurses.
